Thank you for your interest in SPARK-SMA: Speech Production and Receptive Language Abilities in Kids with Spinal Muscular Atrophy . If you would like your child to be considered for participation, the next steps are:

1. Fill out a form on-line to provide some basic information about you and your child.
2. After you submit the form, one of our team’s speech language pathologists will call you to talk about your child and determine if your child qualifies for this study.
3. We will call you to schedule two sessions if you decide to enroll:
   1. A virtual (Zoom) parent interview to gather information about your child’s development.
   2. An in-person session at the Waisman Center for your child.

Note that providing basic information on-line does not obligate you to participate in the study. We will talk to you in more detail about the participation experience before you enroll.
